Another Crazy Hollywood Liberal: Judd Apatow Calls Trump, Republicans “Murderers” For This Reason

Throughout our nation’s colorful history, U.S. presidents and politicians have been called many horrible things: Liars, thieves, adulterers, and many other names that aren’t worth repeating.  The First Amendment protects the right of American citizens to freely criticize the president and all our government officials, and that’s obviously one of the freedoms that make this country so unique and great.

However, when Hollywood writer-director Judd Apatow launched an attack on President Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans last week, he used an insult that is far less commonly used and way more outrageous than the aforementioned insults of liars, thieves, or adulterers: “Murderers.”

Responding to a tweet from ‘The Hill’ about Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s claim that the Democrats’ impeachment of President Trump in January and February of this year distracted government officials from focusing on the coronavirus threat, Apatow said McConnell and his fellow Republicans should be prosecuted.

“I think [the Senate Majority Leader] and all of these politicians should be prosecuted when this is done for the lies which cost thousands of deaths,” he wrote. “He knows Trump is a con man who lied to everyone to delay bad news and that led to thousands of additional deaths. They are all murderers.”

This isn’t the first time The 40-Year-Old Virgin director has accused President Trump of murder.  Last year, Apatow equated the president’s skepticism of left-wing climate change extremism to “murdering our children.”

“We are murdering our children,” he wrote at the time. “It’s as simple as that. The President could care less.”

Other past examples of Apatow’s unhinged opposition to the President included referring to Trump as both a “kidnapper” and a “Nazi.”

“He’s a Nazi. He wants no judicial process. He kidnapped children and commits acts of violence for political gain and to support his racist views,” he said in 2018. “He admires violent dictators. Trump is a Nazi. The debate is over. Soon we will have proof he is a Nazi supported by the Russians.”
