Biden’s Answer On China Proves The Communists Are Going To Walk All Over Him
President Joe Biden appeared in his first network news interview since the inauguration with ‘CBS Evening News’ anchor Norah O’Donnell discussing China and Xi Jinping.
O’Donnell asked Biden why has be not called Xi Jinping and Biden responded ‘we haven’t had occasion to talk to one another yet, there’s no reason not to call him’
Biden said he had 24-25 hours of private meetings with Xi when he was vice president, traveled 17,000 miles with him and knows him very well.
Some believe the Biden Administration will never be tough on China, as one user posted to Twitter, “Is anyone in the Biden administration explicitly tough on Communist China?

O’Donnell briefly cut in telling Biden ‘there’s a lot to talk about’ and Biden said, “a lot to talk about, a whole lot to talk about. He’s very bright, he’s very tough.”
Biden wanted it to be clear how Xi doesn’t have and didn’t mean as criticism of Xi but ‘doesn’t have a democratic small D bone in his body’
Firstpost reported, “China on Monday chose to ignore US President Joe Biden’s comment that his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping lacked a democratic bone in his body but said that the two countries should focus on cooperation and manage differences.”
Further into his response, he brings up President Trump by saying, “The question is, I’ve said to him all along, that we need not have a conflict, but there’s gonna be extreme competition. And I’m not going to do it the way he knows. And that’s because he’s sending signals as well. I’m not gonna do it the way Trump did. We’re gonna focus on international rules of the road.”
