BREAKING: Fox News Cancels ‘Lou Dobbs Show’, Not Expected To Ever Return On Its Networks
Fox News has cancelled ‘Lou Dobbs Tonight’ according to the Los Angeles Times reported on Friday.
The last show on Fox Business Network will be on Friday and a rep said, “As we said in October, Fox News Media regularly considers programming changes and plans have been in place to launch new formats as appropriate post-election, including on Fox business.”
The rep also said this cancelling Lou Dobbs Tonight was part of the planned changes and a new 5 p.m. program will be announced sometime in the future.
According to the Times, Dobbs is still under a contract with Fox News but will not be expected to appear on any of its networks again.
Seems now Lou Dobbs could be picked up by other cable networks since his show is one of the network’s most-watched program.
Huffpost reported, “The cancellation comes one day after electronic voting system company Smartmatic filed a defamation lawsuit against Fox Corp.”
People have been quick to criticize Fox News on cancelling Dobbs by calling it ‘another nail in the coffin of that network’
Fox News dropping Lou Dobbs is yet another nail in the coffin of that network.
They’re truly wrecking it with their base.
