BREAKING: GA Election Officials Formally Launch Investigation Into Trump Phone Calls

The Georgia State Election board has launched an investigation into former President Donald Trump’s phone calls to GA state election officials and the formal complaint was filed Monday by a law professor who alleges that Trump had violated a law during the calls.

According to ABC News, “Walter Jones, a spokesperson for Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office confirmed of the investigation.”

“This is a State Election Board investigation,” he said. “We received a complaint and are treating it the same way we would all complaints. Any further legal efforts will be left to the attorney general.”

Also the Fulton County District Attorney’s office who is weighing whether to open a criminal investigation did not respond to ABC News’ request for comment.

First the short version was released 4 minutes and 32 seconds but then the full audio was released last month in January when the news about the call came out alleging President Trump pressured and threatened to ‘find 11,780 votes’

Jason Miller responded to Twitter when the short tape was released by the media, “They published 4 minutes and 31 seconds-where is the other 35 minutes? @GaSecofState Raffensperger is a political hack who doesn’t care about election integrity, nor does he care about telling the entire story. Release the full tape!’-Jason Miller, Trump 2020 Senior Advisor
