BREAKING: Police Are Responding To An Explosion In Dunwoody, Georgia, Scene Is “Very Active”
On Sunday, an explosion was reported at an apartment complex in a suburb of Atlanta, authorities said.
According to Dunwoody Police Department’s Twitter account, they got reports of an explosion at the Arrive Apartments.
At 1:24pm, we received calls regarding an explosion at the Arrive Apartments. We are on scene with the Dekalb Co. and Sandy Springs Fire Dept. This is a very active scene and the cause of the explosion is under investigation. @DCFRpubaffairs will put out more when known.

According to authorities, reports of the explosion came in at 1:24 p.m. local time.
If you live in the Arrive Apartment and are not affected by the explosion, please remain in your home. The entrances/exits are closed off as the fire dept. works. Please be patient and understand there is a huge incident scene ongoing right now. @GARedCross has been notified.

“We are on scene with the Dekalb Co. and Sandy Springs Fire Dept. This is a very active scene and the cause of the explosion is under investigation,” police said.
According to the police, the apartment complex is located in Dunwoody’s Perimeter neighborhood, which is just north of Atlanta.

Several agencies are responding to an explosion at the Arrive Apartments off Asbury Square in the Dunwoody Georgia with multiple injuries.
Officials are asking people to avoid the area as the Perimeter Center North will be shut down.
