California City Removes “White Lives Matter” Banner, Calls It “Despicable” And “A Stain On Our Society”

City officials in Union City, California, located in the hyper-leftist San Francisco Bay Area region, removed a “White Lives Matter” banner that was discovered at a public park.

In a video posted below, liberal Mayor Carol Dutra-Vernaci denounced the banner as “despicable.”

“A ‘White Lives Matter’ banner was discovered in Union City.  This is despicable and we removed it immediately.”

Kashmir Shahi, chair of the Union City Human Relations Commission, also denounced the banner, saying, “I hope this is an isolated incident, as it doesn’t reflect the community of my city.”

So according to Shahi, the community of Union City, which is 75% non-white, doesn’t believe that the lives of white Union City residents matter.

Predictably, since every single liberal politician is blinded by hate and hypocrisy, Mayor Carol Dutra-Vernaci published a statement in June 2020 expressing her support for Black Lives Matter.

“Black Lives Matter shined a spotlight on systemic racism,” stated Dutra-Vernaci in a letter published online.  “I committed to the Obama Foundation Mayor’s pledge and formed our Policing and Community Engagement Committee to hear your concerns and transform policing.”
