Candace Owens Says She’s Thinking About Running For President

Conservative author and commentator, Candace Owens teased over the weekend that she is thinking about running for President.

“I love America. Thinking about running for President,” the co-founder of theBLEXIT movement tweeted Sunday.

Although just turning 32 this April, the Black-American conservative would be able to meet the 35 year old minimum age requirement to run for President by 2024. The Constitution also requires that anyone running for America’s highest office be a natural-born citizen of the United States, and have been a resident of the country for 14 years.

Owens was a Connecticut native who took journalism at the University of Rhode Island. She dropped out before completing her degree and rose to prominence with her opposition to cyberbullying and vocal conservative commentaries.

She also publicly supported former Republican President Donald Trump throughout his presidency and feuded with progressives like self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (New York) and even with rapper Cardi B who accused her of “betraying her race” by being a conservative.

Meanwhile, she also had a public clash with AOC when the Democratic superstar claimed in December that Republicans would probably be “crying in the walk-in fridge” if they ever worked a restaurant job like her — prompting Owens to call her out as a “spoiled brat.”

“Republicans like to make fun of the fact that I used to be a waitress, but we all know if they ever had to do a double they’d be the ones found crying in the walk-in fridge halfway through their first shift bc someone yelled at them for bringing seltzer when they wanted sparkling,” the New York lawmaker said.

Responding to her, Owens said: “I used to be a waitress and I worked multiple doubles. I am laughing out loud at how much of a coastal elitist you have to be to view that as the definition of a hard day at work.”

“Please get on a plane and see the rest of the world (or country) you spoiled rotten brat,” she added.

Owens urge Republicans to ‘speak up’

Meanwhile, hours after teasing about presidential plans, Owens fired a series of tweets calling on Republicans to speak up noting how this is “an important time in our country.”

“If you’re smarter than a 5th grader, you realize that the radical Left is trying to brainwash the world into believing January 6th was similar to 9/11 or Pearl Harbor,” Owens said, referring to the January 6 Capitol Hill chaos. “Absurd. Just a sloppy attempt to justify censoring, surveilling & treating half our country like terrorists.”

“Every good dictator needs a ‘reason’ and a ‘justification’ for locking up, censoring, and criminalizing all acts of political dissent,” she said. “That is why I will #NeverForgetJanury6th Because it’s become a justification for evil against half our country who remain innocent.”

“For any conservatives who do not have the courage to admit this and are capitulating to the sweeping acts that are being committed against citizens — including President Trump — you will come to regret such spinelessness,” she added, clearly blasting the social media platforms for trying to censor conservative voices.

“This is an important time in our country,” she added. “Speak up.”
