Chilling Bodycam Footage Released In Shooting Death Of Asian-American Police Officer

The video is very disturbing to watch.

The suspect, now named as 30-year-old African-American Lance Lowe, who shot and murdered Stockton police officer Jimmy Inn on Tuesday, May 11, is finally being revealed to the media.

Tuesday’s death, according to Stockton Police Chief Eric Jones, was a “blatant and sudden attack” that began with a domestic violence complaint. According to CBS13 Sacramento, Officer Inn was the first on the scene.

“Send in the social workers! Was it AOC who suggested we should just let these women text a case worker and then drive themselves to a diner so they could start their brand new lives, no police needed? RIP Jimmy Inn,” one user wrote to Twitter in response.

According to authorities, Officer Inn knocked on Lowe’s door and stood off to the side. Officer Inn was shot several times when Lowe opened the door. Lowe then ran back inside his house after exchanging shots with another police officer who had arrived.

Lowe re-emerged from his house, clutching and choking his own 8-year-old kid by the neck, according to cellphone footage acquired by CBS13 Sacramento.

A mysterious hero appears behind Lowe and tackles him to the ground, rescuing the 8-year-old kid. Lowe was then fatally shot by cops.

Lowe’s details were provided by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation on Wednesday. According to officials, he was sentenced to five years in prison in 2018 for grand theft auto with the use of a weapon in a Los Angeles County case, but he was suddenly freed in 2020 under parole supervision.

While awaiting transfer, Lowe earned 820 pre-sentencing credits and 37 post-sentencing credits, according to corrections.

Officer Inn has served with the Stockton Police Department for five years. According to CBS13 Sacramento, he leaves behind a wife who is also a Stockton police officer and three children.
