‘Captain America’ star Chris Evans may ‘cut ties’ with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady over Brady’s support for President Trump.
When a reporter from ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ asked Chris Evans, a die-hard Patriots fan, if he would play Tom Brady in a movie, Evans gave the following response:
I don’t know. I really hope he’s not a Trump supporter. I’m just hoping he’s one of those guys that maybe supported him and now regrets it. Maybe he thought it was going to be different — and even that bothers me — but maybe there’s a chance now he just thinks Trump’s an absolute dumb shit, which he is. If he doesn’t, if he’s still on that Trump train, I might have to cut ties. It’s really tough.

Super bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady is longtime friends with President Trump. Brady was seen with a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat in his locker in 2015. However, Brady’s wife, Gisele Bundchen, has said she doesn’t support Trump.
Evans’ final movie as Captain America, ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ comes out on April 26th.
