CLOWN WORLD: Chicago Cubs BANNED A Man From Their Stadium For Flashing An ‘OK’ Hand Signal On Live Television

During the bottom of the third inning of the Cubs-Marlins on Tuesday night, a fan in a Chicago Cubs hoodie flashed an upside-down ‘OK’ hand gesture behind NBC Sports Chicago analyst Doug Glanville.

The video of the man making the ‘OK’ hand sign went viral on social media, with thousands of mouthbreathers immediately calling the gesture “racist.”

I’m not quite sure how one of the most common hand signs in the world is now considered racist, but we now live in clown world, so I don’t know why I’m surprised.

Anyway, the Chicago Cubs conducted an official “investigation” into the use of the oh-so-terrifying ‘OK’ sign.

Cubs president of business operations Crane Kenney said in a statement that the Cubs “reached the conclusion that it’s more likely than not that this person was using that hand signal as a racist way of interfering with everyone’s enjoyment.”

Kenney gave no insight into how this “investigation” determined that the man was using the common hand gesture in a ‘racist’ way, but details and facts aren’t important in clown world.

Kenney said in the same statement that the Cubs “sent a letter to the individual notifying him of our findings and our decision that, effectively immediately, he will not be permitted on the grounds of Wrigley Field or other ticketed areas indefinitely.”

It wasn’t only Kenney and the Cubs who reached the bizarre conclusion that the man is literally Hitler for throwing up the ‘OK’ on television.

Numerous mainstream news sites also labeled the hand sign as “racist” or a “white supremacist” hand gesture. Just take a look at some of these cringe-worthy headlines:

CBS Chicago: “Cubs Ban Fan Who Flashes Apparent Racist Hand Gesture On Air Behind Doug Glanville”

NBC News: “Chicago Cubs ban fan who flashed ‘white power’ symbol on air behind black reporter”

The Washington Post: “Chicago Cubs ban fan who made ‘disgusting’ hand gesture associated with white power on air”

Those headlines, although extremely stupid, weren’t the most embarrassing thing that the mainstream media did in relation to this story.

Journalist Tim Pool posted a tweet that showed that NBC News blurred the ‘OK’ hand sign as if the dude was throwing up a fucking middle finger.

Many on social media responded to Pool’s tweet by posting pictures of several major celebrities who are clearly not white supremacists flashing the “racist” ‘OK’ hand gesture.

Some of the individuals mentioned by Twitter users were LeBron James, former president Barack Obama, and Socialist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

As far as I’m aware, neither LeBron, Obama, nor AOC is a “white supremacist.”

Ironically, one Twitter user even posted a picture of Chicago Cubs owner Thomas Ricketts flashing the ‘OK’ hand sign.

So that’s it, folks. In clown world, you better not dare to make one of the most common hand gestures in history, or else you will be called a ‘racist’ or a ‘white supremacist.’
