Comedian Sarah Silverman Calls Trans Woman Caitlyn Jenner Transphobic
Last week Caitlyn Jenner announced a run for Governor of California and also spoke out against allowing transgender athletes born male to compete against biological females in sports.
Jenner who was a former Olympic athlete as Bruce Jenner, came out as transgender in 2015 and recently has been criticized by Sarah Silverman on her podcast to question Jenner’s opinions.
“The Sarah Silverman Podcast” with 22.9k subscribers and the video calling out Caitlyn Jenner appears to be performing poorly with 483 likes and 1.7k disliked.
Users have left comments on Silverman’s video to say, “Sarah, have a wrestling match with Caitlyn and get back to us on how it went for you.”
“Is she actually comparing tall girls to men. What the hell? Trans girls are boys and it would be nice if we didn’t compare any group of girls to males. It’s super insulting. And Sarah women fought hard for women and girls to have their own sports. So now we should just let guys play ! What. Women’s and girls rights are human rights,” another user commented.
“Sarah, please educate yourself on fair play for women and girls in sports. Girls are losing scholarships, getting hurt, giving up on sports entirely. I can’t believe I’m saying this but Caitlyn is right,” another comment read.
“Caitlyn, you’re a woman, right?” Silverman asked. “A trans girl is a girl. She should have the same rights as cis girls.”
“What, you think a trans girl is too strong? What about tall girls as opposed to short girls? What about boys in high school who are teeny tiny and their teammates have already hit puberty and are shaving? Why don’t you just have co-ed sports divided by weight and height, you know?” Silverman questioned.

“This is not worrying about girls’ sports, believe me. I think there are better ways to worry about girls’ sports,” Silverman stated.
“This is not what that is, this is not concern for girls’ sports, this is transphobia full stop. It’s just such a bummer when such a prominent trans woman is such a twat,” Silverman stated towards Jenner.
