Coronavirus: Amazon Delivery Guy Caught SPITTING On Package

An Amazon delivery guy who allegedly spat on a package and then appeared to use his hand to smear it might be getting a surprise visit from Homeland Security before long.

TMZ has obtained a video of the disgusting incident that occurred at a Los Angeles Hancock Park residence Thursday night. The exclusive video shows the driver spitting his saliva on the package before taking a picture to confirm his delivery and then casually walking away.

Several people close to the resident confirmed the delivery driver’s actions were caught on a Ring camera. A neighbor also posted the delivery confirmation photo, with a strong note to Amazon attached. The photo clearly shows liquid smeared on top of the box.

Amazon has been made
aware of the incident. Sources say an Amazon customer
service rep watched the footage with them. An Amazon spokesman
told TMZ:

“This is clearly not representative of drivers who deliver for Amazon and the care they take for customers around the world every day. We are aggressively investigating to understand what may have occurred in this situation. If it truly was a malicious act by the driver, we will be sure he is held accountable, up through and including law enforcement action.”

Coronavirus Relief Checks: Here’s Everything You Need To Know To Get Yours

This incident follows a woman who allegedly coughed “all over” fresh produce at a Pennsylvania grocery store. Co-owner of Gerrity’s Supermarkets, Joe Fasula, said the woman who has been a “chronic problem in the community” began hacking all over the fresh fruit and vegetables along with a small section of the meat and bakery case.

Although Fasula believes the woman committed the act as a “very twisted prank,” the store was left with no choice except to throw out any food she came into contact with due to fears of COVID-19. Fasula said the woman’s sick prank cost the store approximately $35,000 worth of product, along with the expense incurred for workers to disinfect everything.

FACT CHECK: Media Pushed Fish Tank Cleaner As Possible Treatment For Coronavirus, NOT President Trump

If the Amazon delivery man or the woman who coughed at the grocery store test positive for COVID-19, they may face serious federal charges.  Federal law enforcement just announced it is considering terrorism charges for anyone who purposely spreads COVID-19.

Teenagers on the Chinese-owned social media app Tik Tok have been participating in the viral “Coronavirus challenge” (no pun intended).  Teens are filming themselves licking items in stores, or even worse, public toilet seats, to “prove” that they aren’t afraid of catching the coronavirus.

It’s truly the most sickening thing I have seen in years.  But coming from the same generation that filmed themselves eating Tide Pods just two years ago, I am not surprised at all.
