Disturbing Footage Surfaces Online Of Afghans Stuck Outside Of USAF C-17 In The Air

Thousands of Afghan citizens urgently sought to board flights to escape the country yesterday as Taliban militants seized control after Democrat President Joe Biden’s messy withdrawal.

People who were stranded outside the aircraft when it was on the ground taking flight provided some of the pictures. More distressing pictures appeared from passengers on board the aircraft who filmed what happened to those stuck on the jet’s exterior after it had already taken off.

“This is what failed foreign policy looks like. I was just sent this from an Air Force pilot. Policy mistakes matter. Biden continues his streak of being on the wrong side of virtually every US foreign policy decision,” Eli Bremer a candidate for U.S. Senate Colorado wrote sharing the graphic image.

The image seems to be a screenshot from a video taken from inside the aircraft. The footage, which is very disturbing, is available to be watched on social media.

According to Politico, “the body of an Afghan so desperate to escape the country hours after Kabul fell to the Taliban was found in the landing gear of an American C-17 transport aircraft hours after it hastily took off from Hamid Karzai International Airport,” according to other sources aware of the situation.

It’s unclear if the individual trapped in the plane’s landing gear was the same person shown in the photos above.

After the Biden administration’s botched and unorganized withdrawal, which was severely condemned by everyone from US friends to the Navy SEAL who killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, the Taliban quickly seized control of Afghanistan.

The Biden administration attempted to blame Trump, who has been out of office for seven months, on Afghan security troops, but The Wall Street Journal described what happened:

“The Afghan army fighting alongside American troops was molded to match the way the Americans operate. The U.S. military, the world’s most advanced, relies heavily on combining ground operations with air power, using aircraft to resupply outposts, strike targets, ferry the wounded, and collect reconnaissance and intelligence.”

“In the wake of President Biden’s withdrawal decision, the U.S. pulled its air support, intelligence and contractors servicing Afghanistan’s planes and helicopters. That meant the Afghan military simply couldn’t operate anymore. The same happened with another failed American effort, the South Vietnamese army in the 1970s, said retired Lt. Gen. Daniel Bolger, who commanded the U.S.-led coalition’s mission to train Afghan forces in 2011-2013.”

Bolger said, “There is always a tendency to use the model you know, which is your own model. When you build an army like that, and it’s meant to be a partner with a sophisticated force like the Americans, you can’t pull the Americans out all of a sudden, because then they lose the day-to-day assistance that they need.”
