Economic Expert Gives Dire Warning: Americans Are Going To Lose Millions Jobs Under Biden’s Economic Plan

A distinguished economist, Stephen Moore, recently warned against the policies being pushed by Joe Biden, which he said would harm American jobs while “other nations laugh.”

Moore, a senior fellow at The Heritage Foundation, pinpointed specifically the plan of Biden to rejoin the Paris Climate Accord that President Donald Trump earlier dropped. He said this accord is going to have a negative impact on American workers.

“I think one of the best things that Donald Trump did when he came into office, and we had talked to him on the campaign about this, is that the Paris climate change treaty is a joke,” Moore, also a former adviser to President Trump said.

“The single biggest polluter in the world, by far, by far, is China and it doesn’t require China to do anything for another 10 years,” he added.

Moore made the comments during an interview on Fox News with Rick Leventhal where he lashed at the unfair provisions of the Paris Climate Accord that will hurt American workers — while praising unemployment rate improved quickly after it spiked earlier this year due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Moore: Biden puts “America last”

“We have to shut down our coal plants, we have to shut down our oil and gas facilities that employ millions of workers, we have to use more expensive energy while China and India and Russia laugh behind our back,” Moore said.

“So, I don’t think it’s a very wise thing to do, as I said in my note this week, this doesn’t put America first, it puts America last because American workers are the ones who are going to have to lose their jobs while the rest of the world — especially the countries that are the big polluters — don’t have to change their behavior,” he added.

As part of Biden’s foreign policy plan, he announced that he would undo President Trump’s foreign policy actions over the past four years and committed to rejoining the Paris Agreement — that the incumbent Republican president abandoned citing “ all cost but no benefit” for the United States.

The US, after all, has spent more than any other country for the Green Climate Fund and was placed under “onerous energy restrictions” which President Trump said could cost the economy as much as 2.7 million jobs by 2025.

Major carbon emitters — China and India — however, have yet to put forward any cash into the fund that time since it is voluntary.

“Americans will be the ones to lose their jobs”

In September, Moore already warned that Biden’s energy plan could kill 5 million jobs.

Citing a Wall Street Journal report, he said that, in 2019, the US led the world in oil and gas production, even surpassing Saudi Arabia, because of fracking — which Biden briefly mentioned he is banning.

“Oil and gas is made in America now, thanks, in no small part, to President Donald Trump’s all-in strategy of making the USA energy dominant. So, Biden is telling us we are going to bring jobs back home by decapitating our energy industry. Wind and solar account for about 5% of our energy consumption today, so even if we double their output, we still need to have access to other energy,” Moore said then.

He noted that under Biden’s energy plan, “it sure looks like we will have to get it from Russia, Saudi Arabia and even China, which is planning to build hundreds of coal plants over the next decade.”

“The leaders of Beijing could care less about climate change. What they do care about is global economic domination by knocking America off our pedestal,” he said, noting that “Biden’s energy plan would give President Xi Jinping and his fellow communists a big assist.”
