Flashback: Piers Morgan Challenges “Gender Expert” Who Fails At Defining Other Genders
“Gender expert” Benjamin Butterworth told Piers Morgan that children should be taught a list of 100 genders. Morgan pushed back on Butterworth for not having any idea what the other terms meant for being an “expert.”
Butterworth claimed that Morgan’s objections were ignorant and that ‘ignorance isn’t a defense.’
Piers Morgan once posted to Twitter to joke about gender identity, “Speaking as a two-spirit penguin, I find it absolutely disgraceful that you have a assigned a gender-neutral identity to a penguin chick when it may wish to identify itself as male or female. Morgan responded to a Pink News story about a London Aquarium giving Pink News readers the honor in naming their ‘adorable gender neutral penguin chick’

Morgan pushed back to respond, “You’re the ignorant one and you’re the one defending it!”
Morgan told Butterworth that parents should help navigate kids through childhood through simple, easy-to-understand terms and concepts.
“In other words, three things you’re male or female or you identify as something else, right? But there are a lot we don’t do these 100 ridiculous terms that even you, the world expert on gender, has no idea what any of them are,” Morgan stated.
Another guest, India Willoughby, on the show who happens to be a trans woman responded, “And I consider myself to be an expert through experience on transition.”
Morgan asked India about the other genders, “And you’ve never heard of half of these?”
“I don’t have clue,” India responded.
