GOP Senators Late Night Trip Exposes The Biden Border Crisis At The U.S.-Mexico Border

18 Republican senators made a late night trip to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas to expose the border crisis that the White House is currently trying to hide and avoid from the media. President Joe Biden has downplayed the crisis caused by his administration undoing former President Trump’s policies and halting of the border wall.

The Biden admin has not allowed the media to film at the border and 18 senators explored the crisis-ridden area for themselves. Senators Mike Lee, Ted Cruz and James Lankford shared their discoveries at the border. They reported on traffickers and cartel members on the Mexican side of the border openly mock and heckle the senators/border patrol officers in the area.

Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma stood under a bridge to film a processing area to show where migrant families go.

Sen. Lankford stated, “I’m in McAllen, Texas, literally right at the Texas-Mexico border. This is one of the underground processing areas that has been set up literally under a bridge. This is a bridge that moves from Mexico into the United States. This is where families are actually coming and unaccompanied minors will just show up here during the night. And like I said, it’s about 11:14 at night right now. They’ll show up.”

The senator continued to show in the clip where they appear and said, “They’ll show up down in that spot. They’ll be able to walk through there. They’re picked up by border patrol here. They’re organized. They get their name, their information. They’ll go through a very basic screening where basically they’re asked, do you feel well kind of thing with a basic screening. They’ll get their name and information. If they have a child that’s six years old or younger or they’re an unaccompanied minor, but they can have like 10 people together that all say they’re family. And if they have one child that’s five or six years old, then all these folks will be released tonight into McAllen, Texas, literally within a couple of hours from when they walk up from Mexico. They’ll go through the basic processing here and all these folks will be released.”

Texas Senator Ted Cruz stated to the media, “It is great to be back in the Rio Grande Valley. It is terrific that John and I were able to bring 18 senators down to Texas, down to the valley to see firsthand the crisis that is unfolding here. All of us today witnessed the Biden cages.”

The Texas senator recorded himself past midnight to discuss what was going on, “I’m standing on the shore of the Rio Grande. The water is right behind me. I’m down the Texas border along with 18 senators. We made the trip to see the crisis that is playing out. They’ve already gone to detention facilities that are overrun, many of them with families, small children. We saw multiple mothers who were nursing infant babies who just crossed over and were being housed in outdoor holding pens.”

Senator Lankford was at the Donna facility the next morning to report, “Unaccompanied minors and their families are being held here. I understand why the Biden team does not want cameras to be allowed in this location. Some of the pods and there’s multiple pods here. The pods where people are being kept are designed for 80 people. One of the pods I went into had 709 kids in it. 709.”

Senator Mike Lee of Utah, stood near the river to report, “This is all very predictable and completely avoidable result of a series of policies that the Biden administration has adopted. Policies that are resulting in drug cartels earning some estimated 14 million dollars a week every week for the last month alone as they exploit women and children.”

Senator Ted Cruz told reporters, “What is occurring here on the border is heartbreaking and it is a tragedy. You know, as we stand by the banks of the Rio Grande, we have an army of TV cameras here. It is striking that not a single one of these cameras is allowed in the Donna facility. We requested that media accompany us in the facility. The Biden administration said no. The Trump administration had allowed media inside facilities like that. The Obama administration allowed media inside facilities like that. The George W. Bush administration had. The Bill Clinton administration had. But the Biden administration wants to hide what is going on here.”
