Gov. DeSantis Asked About Taking Vaccine: I’m Willing To Take It But I’m Not The Priority

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was asked by a reporter if he would be taking the vaccine and his response had them applauding.

DeSantis visited Delray today where seniors took the first dose of the Moderna vaccine.

Gov. DeSantis said, ““I’m willing to take it but I’m not the priority, they’re the priority [pointing at older crowd] I’m under 45 and so people under 45 are not going to be first in line for this and so when it is my turn, I will take it.”

DeSantis continued pointing to the older crowd, “This is who I want to be vaccinated, I want my parents, our grandparents, granted I’m an elected official but whoop dee doo. At the end of the day, let’s focus on where the risk is.”

Governor DeSantis’s is leading Florida in ‘getting the vaccine to those who are most at risk to COVID-19’ as he posted to Twitter.
