Joe Rogan Joins GETTR, Here’s How To Follow Him

Podcast host Joe Rogan announced on Twitter that he has joined Gettr, a new social media platform created by Jason Miller, a former Trump White House spokesman.

Posting from his Gettr account, Rogan said, “Just in case shit over at Twitter gets even dumber, I’m here now as well. Rejoice!”

Gettr brands itself as “the marketplace for ideas” and Rogan, who does not identify with either political party, will be joining a multitude of high-profile Conservatives on the app.

The Gettr app is meant to be a Twitter alternative. Twitter has received lots of backlash over their permanent bans put on former President Donald Trump, U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, and many other highly influential Conservative leaders.

The Gettr interface is very similar to Twitter. Users can write posts up to 777 characters and can upload images or videos which are able to be reshared and liked. As of November 2021, Gettr is said to have three million users.
