Kanye West Publicist Allegedly Pressured Georgia Election Worker To Confess To Voter Fraud Charges
Following the 2020 presidential election, a publicist for Kanye West allegedly tried to pressure a Georgia election worker into admitting to claims of voter fraud.
A new report from Reuters claims that in January 2021, Trevian Kutti, who worked as a publicist for West and claims to now serve as his director of operations, went to Georgia election worker Ruby Freeman’s home after former President Donald Trump accused Freeman of illegally counting votes.
Kutti reportedly informed Freeman that she had been sent by a “high-profile individual” but she did not mention West by name.
At the time, Freeman was the target of death threats, and Kutti claimed she was there to assist him. Freeman, on the other hand, according to Reuters, phoned the police when Kutti told her that “they are going to come out for me and my family.”
Kutti and Freeman eventually met up at a police station, where body camera footage acquired by Reuters showed Kutti telling Freeman “you are a loose end for a party that needs to tidy up” and that something would happen that “will disrupt your freedom.”
The two then reportedly talked in private, with Kutti calling a man on the phone who introduced himself as Harrison Ford (not the actor) and pressured Freeman to confess to the phony voter fraud allegations.
“If you don’t tell everything, you’re going to jail” Kutti warned Freeman, according to Freeman. After becoming suspicious, Freeman is said to have called for a police officer and ended the conversation altogether.
West has stated his support for President Donald Trump, and he met with him at the White House in 2018. In a recent interview, the rapper, who ran for president in 2020, stated that he continues to support President Donald Trump. “I still got a red hat on today,” West stated, referring to the red hats worn by Trump supporters to promote his Make America Great Again campaign. “I’ll let y’all know that. I might not got it on, but I’ll let y’all know where I stand with it.”
