Laid Off Pipeline Worker Slams Biden For Taking Away His Livelihood

Jason Jernigan who was a pipeline worker for 21 years, appeared on Fox News to call out the Biden Administration for taking away his job and said taking a solar panel job would be a pay cut for him. Jernigan even suggested he would take a Walmart greeter job.

Jernigan posted a video that has been gaining a lot of attention where he said, “The recent administration has taken my livelihood from me.”

John Kerry was saying the laid off workers could make solar panels as Forbes wrote ‘Climate Czar Kerry Wants Ex-Keystone Workers To Make Solar Panels. That Will Require Importing Less China Solar Panels.’

“What President Biden wants to do is make sure those folks have better choices, that they have alternatives, that they can be the people to go to work to make the solar panels,” Kerry said.

Jernigan is 45 years and spent his whole life learning this ‘craft and skill’ of being a pipeline worker and said he has no idea what he will be doing now. Jernigan knows it will not be easy to transition to a new job.

According to the Keystone XL project, there would have been an estimated 10,400 U.S. jobs and 2,800 Canadian jobs created throughout the pipeline’s construction but not anymore with Biden’s policies.

Thousands of future jobs are lost and Jernigan is one of many who will not be able to use their craft and skills to continue their work.
