Leftists Outraged Over Dem. Senator Giving ‘Gladiator’ Thumbs Down Vote On $15 Minimum Wage

Democrat Senator Kyrsten Sinema voted against the $15 minimum wage with a big thumbs down on the vote for $15 minimum wage and some were even outraged that she brought in cake.

AZ Central reported their headline, ‘Grant people a living $15-an-hour wage? Sen. Kyrsten Sinema would rather they eat cake’

AZ Central wrote, “She literally carried a cake to the Senate when she voted against Sen. Bernie Sanders’ proposal to keep the $15-an-hour wage hike in the $1.9 billion COVID-19 relief plan.”

According to reports, Sinema walked into the Senate carrying a large cake for the Senate floor staff who worked through the night while the 628 page bill was read at Sen. Ron Johnson’s request.

“The Senate parliamentarian had indicated that increasing the federal minimum wage from $7.25 to $15 per hour didn’t belong in the coronavirus bill.”

Sanders’ proposal was rejected by the Senate with a 58-42 vote.

“I understand what it is like to face tough choices while working to meet your family’s most basic needs. I also know the difference better wages can make, which is why I helped lead Arizona’s effort to pass an indexed minimum wage in 2006 and strongly supported the voter-approved state minimum wage increase in 2016,” Sinema wrote to Twitter Friday morning.

One leftist wrote in response to Sinema, “Might f*ck around and dedicate my entire online presence to ending Kyrsten Sinema’s career.”

Some ‘comedian’ stated, “Hey @kyrstensinema– it’s almost exactly 7 years after this tweet and you just voted no to help this issue…. talk about no brainer.” In response to a tweet from 2014 where she showed her support for a wage increase in 2016, not 2021. The comedian does not understand Sinema supported a wage increase for 2016.

Daily Beast Columnist posted his response to the clip, “Senator Sinema, any advice for the 839,000 Arizona who make less than #15 an hour and are one crisis from bankruptcy?”
