London Police Are Using Different Tactics When Handling Vaxx Choice VS Climate Change Protesters
Extinction Rebellion protestors have clogged the way to Tower Bridge in London with a van and caravan, the Guardian reported on Monday.
The Extinction Rebellion, also called XR, began two weeks of climate protests in London last week to “target the root cause of the climate and ecological crisis”, calling on the government to halt all new fossil fuel investments as soon as possible.
“XR are here demanding an immediate halt to all new investments in fossil fuels. It’s the obvious first step to stop making the crisis worse,” they claimed.
The London police force said on Twitter “officers were on the scene almost immediately” and are working with the City of London Police to get traffic moving.

The Metropolitan police said: “Officers were on the scene almost immediately. We are working with City police to get traffic moving again. Activists are also laying on the junction north of Tower Bridge, this is causing further disruption.”

Police verified that 11 people were arrested during Monday’s protests, adding to the 34 people who were detained the previous day.
While XR was protesting, another group called Save Our Rights UK was also protesting against vaccine passports. While they also blocked roads, the London Police were seen on video sending attack dogs on the unarmed protestors. It is unclear why the police resorted to using them.
