Mainstream Media Silent After White College Student Stabbed And Killed By Suspected Black Assailant In Random Attack

According to witnesses at a furniture store in Los Angeles, Calif., Brianna Kupfer, a 24-year-old white college student at UCLA was viciously stabbed to death by a young black man.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) issued a search warrant for Shawn Laval Smith, 31, who they described as armed, dangerous, and “highly likely” to be traveling via public transportation. Smith is the primary suspect in the heinous crime.

The Los Angeles Police Department is offering a reward of $250,000 for information leading to the whereabouts of the accused killer.

Officials from the Covina Police Department said that Smith had been let to the streets as a result of loose criminal justice rules. Smith was freed from jail without posting bond in October 2020 after being charged with a minor felony, according to court records. According to the New York Post, the victim’s father claims that he “heard his rap sheet is much worse.”

Kupfer was working alone at the furniture store Croft House when she was killed. LAPD released a statement that said, “Detectives have determined the suspect was not known to the victim and was a random walk-in to the store. The suspect attacked the victim with a knife and fled the scene through the back door. There is no known motive at this time.”

The department added, “The suspect is described as a male Black, unknown age, tall, thin, wearing a dark hoody, sunglasses, a white N-95 mask, dark skinny jeans, dark shoes and carrying a dark back pack.”
