Migrant Starter Packs Include Kamala Harris’ Children’s Book

Kamala Harris’s children’s book Superheroes are Everywhere is being distributed through welcome packs intended for unaccompanied migrant children entering the U.S. in droves.

The Amazon description says this about the book: ‘Before Kamala Harris was elected to the vice presidency, she was a little girl who loved superheroes. And when she looked around, she was amazed to find them everywhere!

Biden team representatives have denied accusations of the book being purchased using taxpayer funding.

“The referenced book was one of an assortment of hundreds of titles donated to the Long Beach Emergency Intake Site as part of a City of Long Beach new books and toys drive. No taxpayer dollars were used to purchase Vice President Harris’ book,” the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services told Newsweek.

“The City of Long Beach, in partnership with the Long Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau, has a citywide book and toy drive that is ongoing to support the migrant children who are temporarily staying in Long Beach at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services shelter,” he said. “The single book you reference is one of hundreds of various books that have already been donated. The book was not purchased by HHS or the City.”

Republican Congressman Madison Cawthorn slammed the inclusion of Harris’s book in the welcome packs bundled with essential hygiene items.

“Kamala is now saying ‘we’re making progress’ on Biden’s border crisis,” Cawthorn tweeted. “She must be referring to her progress on book sales.…”

Despite being tasked by Biden to manage the crisis at the southern border 31 days ago, Harris has yet to visit the migrant processing facilities.
