Mike Pence Vows To Keep Fighting Until ‘Every Illegal Vote Is Thrown Out’ —  Urged Conservatives to “stay in the fight”

Vice President Mike Pence vowed to keep challenging the results of the 2020 election, which has been called for Democratic candidate Joe Biden, until “every illegal vote is thrown out.”

Speaking at a Turning Point USA’s annual Student Action Summit (SAS) on Tuesday, the Republican vice president noted how President Donald Trump gathered more than 74 million votes in the last election, compared to the 62 million who voted for him in 2016.

“As our election contest continues, I’ll make you a promise, we’re going to keep fighting until every legal vote is counted,” Pence told attendees in West Palm Beach, Florida.

“We’re going to keep fighting until every illegal vote is thrown out,” he added.

Vice President Pence also lauded the many achievements of the Trump administration the past four years and described the President as “the most pro-life president in American history.”

“We flipped 12 seats in the United States Congress and the president actually received the greatest share of minority votes for a Republican in 60 years,” he told the conservative advocacy group.

Pence’ comments came several weeks after the media called Biden the winner of the election, and eight days since the result of the Electoral College vote.

Nonetheless, the Trump campaign continues to pursue legal actions to correct the outcome of the November 3 polls amid reports of widespread election fraud and as more evidence surfaced.

While VP Pence was en route to Florida on Tuesday for the gathering, President Trump tweeted that the presidential contest last month was a “rigged election.”

“THE DEMOCRATS DUMPED HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF BALLOTS IN THE SWING STATES LATE IN THE EVENING. IT WAS A RIGGED ELECTION!!!,” the Republican President said.

Congress is set to hold a joint session on January 6 — to be presided by VP Pence in his role as president of the Senate — to certify the results of the Electoral College votes.

Meanwhile, in his speech, the Vice President asked the crowd to “stay in the fight”as his remark was received with chants of “four more years” and “stop the steal” from his audience of young conservatives.

“We need you to stay in the fight to be a check on what the Democrats and the radical left want to do and what they want to undo,” he added as he promised that “the best days of the conservative movement are yet to come.”
