New Study Claims That Eating One Hot Dog Reduces Some Time Off Your Life

According to a recent Fox News report, researchers at the University of Michigan School of Public Health’s Department of Environmental Health Sciences claim that consuming just one hot dog cuts 36 minutes off a person’s life.

The study’s authors claim that they aim to teach Americans about how to achieve “healthier and more environmentally stable diets,” Fox reported.

This comes during a frenzy of virtue-signaling vegans and vegetarians who are pushing their diets to fight climate change and animal consumption. These groups actively ignore the many animals killed during the agricultural process that are considered pests.

Hot dogs, sugary drinks such as soda, and breakfast sandwiches were among the worst violators on the index’s danger zone.

Fruits, non-starchy and mixed veggies, and cooked grains were found to be the most beneficial to one’s health.

According to the researchers, a serving of chicken wings took 3.3 minutes off your life, but an all-beef hot dog [with a white flour bun] took 36 minutes off your life, “primarily due to the adverse effect of processed meat.”

A peanut butter and jelly sandwich, on the other hand, increased a person’s life by half an hour, while other items including “salted peanuts, baked salmon, and rice with beans” also increased life by half an hour.

The study has the trappings of a video game, where certain items can help or harm your goals.

“We use the results to inform marginal dietary substitutions, which are realistic and feasible,” the authors wrote. “We find that small, targeted, food-level substitutions can achieve compelling nutritional benefits and environmental impact reductions.”

“Previous studies investigating healthy or sustainable diets have often reduced their findings to a discussion of plant-based versus animal-based foods, with the latter stigmatized as the least nutritious and sustainable,” a portion of the study, published in the August 2021 issue of Nature Food, said. “Although we find that plant-based foods generally perform better, there are considerable variations within both plant-based and animal-based foods that should be acknowledged before such generalized inferences are warranted.”

According to Fox News, researchers determined that switching 10% of daily calorie consumption from high-fat foods like beef, processed meats, and other harmful highly refined foods to higher-quality foods like leafy green vegetables, nuts, and more could result in “substantial health benefits.”

Dr. Paul Saladino, who is frequently attacked by mainstream doctors and vegans, argued that eating animal products gives people more bioavailable nutrients, resulting in being taller and stronger.

“There are significant studies that show a correlation between height and nutritional quality. During the advent of the Neolithic Age, adults, on average, were taller than they are now. When height is studied next to nutrition, scientists have found that an increase in animal proteins corresponds to an increase in height. An increase in plants corresponds to a decrease in height.”

“When you look at certain Eskimo tribes, you can see the difference between a plant-based diet and a meat-exclusive diet. The meat-exclusive diet caused a negligible amount of cavities at a higher percentage.”
