Pewdiepie just revealed why he won’t be making any more Dr. Phil reaction videos on YouTube.

Pewdiepie, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg, said that Sony TV claimed all the ad revenue from his videos that contain video footage of Dr. Phil:

I got bad news.  You might wanna sit down.  How do I even begin to say this?  All my Dr. Phil videos got claimed by Sony TV.  All of them. They struck out of nowhere. I wasn’t even prepared.  You know, Dr. Phil wore my t-shirt, so I thought he was a bro, okay.

Pewds added that he will obviously no longer be making any more Dr. Phil videos since they won’t make him any money:

I thought he would appreciate my videos and understand that it gave traction to his show, but this of course means no more Dr. Phil videos.

Pewdiepie has uploaded many videos in which he reacts to episodes of Dr. Phil. The videos had become a staple of Pewds’ content.

This setback for Pewdiepie takes place while Pewdiepie is in an epic battle with T-Series, an Indian music company, for the #1 most subscribed channel on YouTube.

At the time of this writing, Pewdiepie’s lead over T-Series is around 30,000 subscribers. Pewdiepie is looking to become the first YouTuber to reach 90 million subscribers.
