NY Sheriff Tells Gov. Cuomo He Won’t Enforce His COVID-19 Order

Fulton County’s New York Sheriff, Richard Giardino says they will not enforce the state’s 10-person limit on gatherings.

Giardino made a Facebook post to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and assured people, “First an Executive Order applying directly to citizens for their private conduct is usually not a law in the sense that there are no penalties attached and you can’t be arrested.”
