President Trump Hints At 2024 Presidential Run: “See You In 4 Years”

President Donald Trump hinted at another presidential run in a White House speech even as his team continues to pursue legal challenges related to the 2020 election.

The President told a White House Christmas party for members of the Republican National Committee (RNC) that he would see them “in four years” should his election-related lawsuits against vote tallies in several states fail.

“It’s been an amazing four years,” President Trump said, according to The Associated Press. The video was caught in a Facebook livestream done by former Oklahoma Republican Party Chairman, Pam Pollard.

“We’re trying to get another four years, but otherwise I’ll see you in four years,” the incumbent Republican President added.

Fox News said “two sources” who attended the gathering confirmed President Trump’s comments.

The Trump campaign continues to prove that widespread election irregularities took place in key battleground states on November 3 — delivering an edge to Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden — based on accounts from multiple witnesses.

“It’s certainly an unusual year. We won an election. But they don’t like that,” the President said, maintaining that the election was rigged amid reports of voter fraud and misconduct in various states.

“I call it a rigged election, and I always will,” he added.

This is not the first time that the mainstream media reported about the President hinting at a 2024 White House run.

On Monday, Fox News  said President Trump “has told advisers that he wants to run again in four years, and could potentially announce his bid before or even during Biden’s inauguration, according to a report by its White House correspondent John Roberts.

The Daily Beast also earlier ran a similar story saying the President is “already gaming out a 2024 run” — and could announce it during Biden’s inauguration on January 20.

‘Saving America now, not in four years’

The Trump campaign denied the reports, however.

“Jenna Ellis, Trump 2020 senior legal adviser and attorney to President Trump, said the Daily Beast’s report is ‘completely false,’” The Daily Wire reported.

“Fake news media continues to frame the fake news narrative that President Trump has given up the fight for election integrity,” Ellis reportedly told the news outlet. “This is completely false. I speak with the President daily and he is focused on saving our great Republic now, not four years from now.”

Should the President decide to run again in four years, early polls showed that he is already the most-favored by Republicans to win the GOP race. A November Morning Consult/Politico poll found that 54% of those who were asked whom they would back if the 2024 GOP presidential primary were held that day picked President Trump.

The next-highest vote went to Vice President Mike Pence at 12% and the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr. at 8%. The rest of the other possible names included — like Senators Marco Rubio (Florida), Mitt Romney (Utah), Ted Cruz (Texas), and former Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley all received less than 5% of the vote.

Although President Trump has allowed the initial transition to Biden, who has been proclaimed by the media as the winner of the 2020 election, he is yet to formally concede.

“It’s going to be a very hard thing to concede because we know there was massive fraud,” President Trump said on Thursday.

The President also said Biden can only enter the White House as president if he can prove that his “ridiculous 80,000,000 votes were not fraudulently or illegally obtained.”
