President Trump Says Iran Appears To Be “Standing Down” After Firing Missiles Into Iraq (VIDEO)

President Trump addressed the nation after tensions between the U.S. and Iran escalated due to Iran firing missiles at a base in Iraq at which U.S. troops were being housed.

President Trump said that he considers the missile strikes in Iraq as a sign that Iran is “standing down.”

The President said he would immediately impose economic sanctions “until Iran changes its behavior.”

President Trump has called on other world powers to break away from the Iran nuclear deal.

The President stands by his decisions, saying “Soleimani’s hands were drenched in both American and Iranian blood.”

President Trump closed by saying the people of Iran deserve a future of “prosperity at home in harmony.”
