Press Sec McEnany Gives Statement On Capitol Siege, Media ERUPTS At End
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany gave a statement Thursday responding to the incident on Capitol Hill.
The press secretary was there to deliver the message on behalf of all of the White House and called the violence appalling and condemned it along with the president and administration.
When the violence started, Kayleigh McEnany took to Twitter ‘We reiterate President Trump’s call against violence and to remain peaceful’
At President @realDonaldTrump’s direction, the National Guard is on the way along with other federal protective services.

McEnany ended the briefing, “Those who are working in this building are working to ensure an orderly transition of power. Now it is time for America to unite, to come together to reject the violence that we have seen. We are one American people under God.”
