Rep. Matt Gaetz Voted “Yes” On An Iran War Powers Resolution To Limit Trump’s Power, And Many Republicans Are Angry (VIDEO)

Rep. Matt Gaetz voted “yes” on an Iran war powers resolution, and many Republicans are angry.

The House of Representatives approved a non-binding Iran war powers resolution, with which Rep. Matt Gaetz, along with two other Republicans, voted to restrain President Trump’s ability to use military action against Iran without congressional approval.

The bill is not legally binding since it will not be sent over to the President for a signature.

All but 8 Democrats voted “yes” on the Iran war powers resolution.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw defended President Trump’s ability to quickly respond to attacks on U.S. citizens.

Despite this vote, Rep. Gaetz demonstrated unwavering support for President Trump during the House impeachment inquiry in late 2019.
