Rep. Paul Gosar Objects To Counting Of Electoral Ballots In Arizona
Congressman Paul Gosar objected to the certification and counting of Arizona, had it in writing and signed by both a representative and a senator.
Vice President Mike Pence said about the objection, “Complies with the law, Chapter I of Title 3 of the United States code, the clerk will report the objection.”
The two chambers then will separately recess and debate for up to two hours, followed with a vote to accept or reject the objection.
More GOP lawmakers are expected to object several states’ electoral votes.
