REPORT: 140 House Republicans Expected To Vote Against Counting Electoral Votes
CNN came to their senses in reporting a GOP source with ‘At least a handful’ of GOP Senators could join the election challenge next week.
Two House Republicans told CNN they are expecting at least 140 House Republicans to vote even though McConnell has warned other GOP senators to not do so.
Wednesday Sen. Josh Hawley took a pledge to challenge Joe Biden’s victory in Pennsylvania and other states on Jan. 6.
Axios reported, “McConnell had previously urged senators not to force this vote, which he believed would put Republicans up for re-election in 2022 in a horrible position-.”
Pelosi responded to Sen. Hawley’s announcement saying she has no doubt that on Wednesday Jan 6, Biden would be confirmed.
