Republican Congressmen Expose Unfinished Gaps In Border Wall

Representatives Andy Biggs who represents Arizona’s 5th congressional direct and Rep. Jason Smith for Missouri’s 8th congressional district both traveled along the southern border to show how the current border crisis is getting worse.

This week I’m traveling along the southern border to witness first-hand the crisis that Biden’s reckless policies have created. What my GOP colleagues and I have seen so far is further proof that the situation is rapidly getting worse and must be addressed by @POTUS,” Rep. Smith wrote to Twitter.

At 6,000 daily Southern border apprehensions, we are now facing the worst border crisis in 20 years. Yet, still no word from @POTUS. Think about that. #BidenBorderCrisis,” Rep. Biggs posted to Twitter.

“Throughout April, Customs and Border Protection has encountered an average of just under 6,000 people daily at the southern border, according to a Department of Homeland Security official, which is in line with the March average of around 5,560 people daily,” what CNN reported.

“During the first three weeks of April, around 122,000 people were encountered by US border authorities on the southwest border, another signal that the month will likely be similar to March, according to preliminary data obtained by CNN,” the outlet also reported.
3 hours into his presidency, Joe Biden abandoned the wall and broke the law. Now border agents have twice the work and none of the resources because of @POTUS’s reckless open border policies,” Rep. Smith posted to Twitter.

President Biden’s halt on border wall construction has left taxpayer-funded building materials to waste away RIGHT next to massive gaps along the border. #BidenBorderCrisis,” Rep. Biggs wrote calling out Biden.
