SCOTUS Justice Breyer Is Retiring, Sign This Petition To Tell The Senate To Reject Biden From Nominating Kamala Harris

Mainstream media outlets have been reporting that SCOTUS Justice Stephen Breyer will step down from his position at the end of his current term. Breyer is one of three remaining liberal justices and his retirement will mark the end of his 27-year tenure on the court.

This gives President Biden the opportunity to appoint a successor who could serve for decades and ensure a 6-3 split between Conservative and Liberal judges.

While Breyer’s announcement is not official, Biden said on Wednesday he will let Breyer formally announce it before he comments on the matter. White House Press secretary Jen Psaki said, “It has always been the decision of any Supreme Court Justice if and when they decide to retire, and how they want to announce it, and that remains the case today.”

On the campaign trail in 2020, Biden vowed to nominate a black woman to the SCOTUS. Many individuals have reminded Biden of this promise. White House press secretary refused to answer whether or not Biden would consider nominating Kamala Harris to the SCOTUS seat.

Political pundit Bill Kristol also theorized that Harris would be picked on Twitter.

“This person has to be a woman, she has to be black and she has got to be younger,” Harris Faulkner said. “Anyone thinking what I’m thinking? They do not know what to do with Kamala Harris in the White House right now. I can’t be the only person seeing this.”
