Shaun King Defends Kim Kardashians White Boyfriend, Compares Kanye West To Trump
Radical civil rights activist Shaun King took aim at Kanye West on Tuesday. West has generated controversy over recent Instagram posts he’s made concerning his estranged wife Kim Kardashian and her current fling, Pete Davidson.
West discouraged violence to his followers to stop them from “doing anything physical to Skete.” West has nicknamed Pete Davidson “skete.” He explained that he is “going to handle the situation himself” and posted a photo of a black man putting another black man in a chokehold.
The world-famous rapper also posted a screenshot of a text from what seems to be his ex, Kim Kardashian. The text says, “U are creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault.”
King reposted West’s post and said he “crossed the line into abuse.” King claimed West was abusive, saying he had “crossed a dangerous line that I personally find very problematic and is common with abusive men.”
King also equated West’s actions to former President Donald Trump: “So let me tell you the ONLY other famous person I know that does this…[is] DONALD TRUMP. Who memed about violence over and over…until people got violent.”
King called Trump and West “extreme” narcissists who wanted their followers to violently hurt people.
He went on to call West’s rhetoric “truly toxic”, “dangerous”, “manic” and “weirdness.”
Ironically, King accused West of not being “pro-black” since he has gone on dates with white women while King defended Kim Kardashian’s white boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
