“I’m going into the military and I didn’t want to just cut it off and drop it on the floor. I wanted to give back because there are lots of people that need help.” Moise said to local outlets at Ale Brewery outside of Huntsville.
Moise said what encouraged him to donate was because he had lost a friend to cancel while he was in middle school.
Kieran said on his “Kieran’s Curls for Cancer,” St. Jude Fundraising website that he wants to raise $1,000 each inch of his hair.
Moises stated that the money raised “will do so much good to help families dealing with cancer.”
As of Sunday afternoon, Moise has raised nearly over $20,000.
“Kieran is a recent graduate of New Century Technology High School in Huntsville and will head to the Air Force Academy this fall,” the oulet reported.
