Texas Rep. Shreds Dems On Gun Rights: ‘Government Will Never Know What I Own’

U.S. Representative Chip Roy went off on Democrats to defends Americans’ gun rights while bringing  light to the border crisis situation going on in Texas.

Right now in South Texas, Roy stated there are Texans whose lives are in danger with wide open borders because of the Biden administration and there is not a fake crisis when there are break-ins, high speed chases and over 100,000 people coming from across the border.

On gun rights, Rep Roy called out the gun buyer background checks. The gun bill H.R. 8, was passed through the House of Rep. in early 2019 but stalled in the Senate. Many believe this bill will lead to create a gun registry through implementing background check systems.

Rep. Chip Roy posted to Twitter, “This is the Biden Border Crisis … Cartels have operational control of our border and the Biden administration knows it and they don’t care. Because, for political purposes, they’re perfectly fine having open borders that endanger the lives of American citizens.”

Rep. Kevin McCarthy posted about the crisis to twitter, “More than 100,000 migrants were encountered attempting to illegally cross our Southern border last month. These numbers are staggering—especially in the midst of a pandemic. President Biden needs to step up and address this crisis that he created now.”

A Biden advisor, Roberta Jacobson said today that it wasn’t a ‘coincidence’ how border crossing attempts have spiked soon after President Biden took office.

According to Fox News, “Asked if surges at the border could be linked to Biden’s undoing of Trump-era border policies, Jacobson said: ‘We’ve seen surges before. Surges tend to respond to hope, and there was significant hope for a more humane policy after four years of pent-up demand.”

“There was a hope for a more humane policy after four years of pent-up demand, so I don’t know if I would call that a coincidence,” said Jacobson, who spoke during the daily White House briefing. “But the idea that a more humane policy would be in place may have driven people to make that decision, but perhaps, more importantly, it definitely drove smugglers to express disinformation, spread disinformation about what was now possible.”

After calling out Dems about the flood of migrants coming across the border Rep. Roy brought up the Democrats wanting to take away guns.

“Now my Democratic colleagues, after defunding the police, opening up our borders, want to take away our God-given right, yes God-given right, to defend ourselves under the Second Amendment,” Rep. Roy said.
