Transgender YouTuber To Be Held In Female Jail Despite Arrest On Suspicion Of Sex Crimes On Family Member

Chris Chan, a famed YouTuber was arrested on suspicion of incest after a leaked phone call was released online.

Christine Weston Chandler was being detained at the Henrico Regional Jail West Facility in Virginia on one count of incest before he was moved to Greene County custody on Monday, according to a spokesman for the Henrico County Sheriff’s Office.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office stated in a news statement that they “received information involving sex crimes against a family member” on Saturday, and that an investigation led to the issuance of an arrest warrant. Chandler was apprehended by the Henrico Police Department in Ruckersville, Virginia.

Chandler, 39, is being detained without bail, according to authorities, and the investigation is continuing “with additional charges pending.”

On July 31st, 2021 the Greene County Sheriffs Office received information involving sex crimes against a family member, who resides in the Ruckersville area. Both the victim and the suspect reside in Greene County. Based on the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued.
On 8/1/2021 , the Henrico Police Department was able to locate and arrest the following individual:
Christine Weston Chandler of Ruckersville, VA
He is currently charged with the following:
Va Code: 18.2-366 Incest
Christine Chandler is currently being held without bond at the Central Virginia Regional Jail.

“Chris Chan got his dream. He will be jailed with female inmates,” Ian Miles Cheong commentated.

Chandler, an artist and YouTuber, tweeted to his roughly 60,000 followers on Friday, “There is drama in the air today. Each and every one of you all are encouraged to withdraw from any and all dramas, gossip, rumors, and whatever else will, and already has, approached your way today.”

Chandler has over 50,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Chandler urges the cameras in a viral video capturing the moment he was detained over the weekend that “everything is going to work out” as he seems to be in handcuffs with police around him. Chandler described the previous several days as “stressful.”

One user shared video of the arrest of Chris Chan that was being filmed to a livestream.
