Trump Calls Dems, Adam Schiff “Major Sleaze Bags” At World Economic Forum In Devos (VIDEO)
President Trump taunted Democrats while at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
“I’d sort of love sitting right in the front row and stare in their corrupt faces. I’d love to do it,” said President Trump about his desire to sit in the Senate during his impeachment trial.
At the 2020 World Economic Forum, President Trump boasted about the booming United States economy, stating that unemployment rates for all ethnic groups are the lowest ever and that many companies are returning to the united states to do business.
“We’re concentrating and creating the most inclusive economy ever to exist,” said the President. “We are lifting up Americans of every race, color, religion, and creed. Unemployment rates among African-Americans, Hispanic Americans and Asian Americans have all reached record lows. African-American youth unemployment has reached the lowest it’s ever been in the history of our country. African-American poverty has plummeted to the lowest rate ever recorded.”
President Trump continued, “The unemployment rate for women reached the lowest level since 1953. And women now comprise a majority of the American workforce. That’s for the first time. The unemployment rate for veterans has dropped to a record low. The unemployment rate for disabled Americans has reached an all-time record low. Workers without a high school diploma have achieved the lowest unemployment rate recorded in U.S. history.”
President Trump went on to accuse Adam Schiff and the Democrats of being major liars and “sleaze bags.”
“I think the other side has so lied. I watch their lies from Adam Schiff. He’ll stand to look at a microphone and will talk like he’s so grieved, these two guys. These are major sleaze bags. They’re very dishonest people.”
President Trump raised $46 million for his re-election campaign during the last quarter of 2019, which raised the campaign’s total cash-on-hand to $102.7 million.
On Monday, Senator Mitch McConnell successfully passed impeachment trial rules that give both the House Democrat prosecutors and the president’s defense team three days to present their cases for or against removing President Trump from office.
“Here in the Senate, the president’s lawyers will finally receive a level playing field with the House Democrats and we’ll finally be able to present the president’s case,” said Leader McConnell. “Finally, some fairness. On every point, our straightforward resolution will bring clarity and fairness that everyone deserves. The President of the United States, the House of Representatives and the American people.”
