Trump Supporters Gather In Georgia For ‘Stop the Steal’ Rally
Supporters of President Donald Trump have gathered in Atlanta on Saturday for a “Stop the Steal” march to back the efforts of the incumbent Republican chief executive to ensure election integrity after the state moved to certify its election results.
The rally at the Georgia State Capitol — which was reportedly attended by hundreds of the President’s supporters — also gathered high-profile attendees, including National Organizer of the “Stop the Steal” protests Ali Alexander, State Representative Vernon Jones, Tea Party Patriots co-founder Jenny Beth Martin, and #WalkAway movement founder Brandon Straka.

Videos from the event showed the crowd chanting “stop the steal”, “hold the line” and “four more years” as Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger certifies the election results at the Peach State showing that Democratic candidate Joe Biden won the presidential race in the historically-red state.
The final tally after a historic audit and full-hand recount of votes in Georgia’s 159 counties showed Biden with 2.47 million votes and President Trump with 2.46 million votes — putting Biden ahead with 12,670 votes or a mere 0.25% lead.
Libertarian Jo Jorgensen gathered 62,138 votes in the state.

While Georgia has conducted a manual recount of the votes, the Trump campaign has called for an “audit’” of the votes which meant verifying the signatures in the ballots.
“The recount being done in Georgia will tell us nothing because these fraudulent ballots will just be counted again because they wouldn’t provide the signatures to match the ballots. So, it means nothing,” Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani said.

“The Governor of Georgia, and Secretary of State, refuse to let us look at signatures which would expose hundreds of thousands of illegal ballots, and give the Republican Party and me, David Perdue, and perhaps Kelly Loeffler, a BIG VICTORY…,” President Trump said Friday.

“Why won’t they do it, and why are they so fast to certify a meaningless tally?”
Earlier, the President also called the recount “a joke” since illegal ballots could still be part of the count.

President Trump added: “Almost ZERO ballots rejected in Georgia this election. In years past, close to 4%. Not possible. Must have a signature check on envelopes now. Very easy to do. Dems fighting because they got caught. Far more votes than needed for flip. Republicans must get tough!” President Trump said.

Meanwhile, as Georgia’s Governor said that state law required him to certify the election results but that this “paves the way for the Trump campaign to pursue other legal options and a separate recount if they choose.”
