Tucker Carlson Accuses Biden Admin Of Spying On Him: ‘Biden Lied, He Promised He Wouldn’t Do This’

Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted the administration of Democrat President Joe Biden for spying on him by monitoring his texts and emails through the National Security Agency (NSA).

Carlson made the revelation as he accused the administration of monitoring his electronic communications in a bid to shut down the show — which often airs pieces critical of them.

“Yesterday we heard from a whistleblower within the US government who reached out to warn us that the NSA, the National Security Agency, is monitoring our electronic communications and is planning to leak them in an attempt to take this show off the air,” Carlson said on his show “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Monday.

“Now that’s a shocking claim and ordinarily we’d be skeptical of it; it’s illegal for the NSA to spy on American citizens,” he added. “It’s a crime. It’s not a third world country. Things like that should not happen in America. But unfortunately they do happen, and in this case they did happen.”

Carlson narrated how the whistleblower “who is in a position to know” repeated information about a story that the show was working on — which he said “could have only come directly from my texts and emails.”

“There’s no other possible source for that information, period,” the Fox News host said.

“The NSA captured that information without our knowledge and did it for political reasons,” Carlson asserted. “The Biden administration is spying on us. We have confirmed that.”

The host noted that they have filed a FOIA request — Freedom of Information Act request — asking for all information that the NSA and other agencies have gathered about the show and also contacted the press office of both NSA and the FBI.”

“We don’t expect to hear much back,” Carlson said. “That’s the way that usually goes. Only Congress can force transparency on the intelligence agencies and they should do that immediately.”

He continued: “Spying on opposition journalists is incompatible with democracy. If they are doing it to us, and again they are definitely doing it to us, they are almost certainly doing it to others. This is scary and we need to stop it right away.”

Carlson also slammed how the government’s “War on Terror” —  which has been ongoing for 20 years, has pivoted in its aims under the Biden administration, and is now directed to even American citizens.

“The War on Terror is now being waged on American citizens, opponents of the regime. We saw this on display on January 6. We told you a couple of weeks ago, based on the language in publicly available indictments, that the FBI clearly had foreknowledge of the riot at the Capitol that day, and the agents we spoke to this weekend confirmed that is true: ‘The FBI had sources in that crowd — confidential sources, snitches. That’s 100% certain,’” he said.

Biden admin gets backlash

Following Carlson’s revelation, Biden and his administration faced backlash online for the alleged spying, especially after the Democrat President said last month that he would not allow the Department of Justice to seize records  from journalists.

Editor Ian Miles Cheong wrote to Twitter: “Biden lied, he promised he wouldn’t do this.”

Top Republican strategist Andrew Surabian also called out the excesses of the country’s intelligence community — which now reins on private citizens.

“No area of government tramples on our constitutional rights more than the intelligence community. … And it’s not even close. Reduce their power. Cut their funding. Rein them in.”

Georgia Rep. Jody Hice wrote: “This is entirely believable given the systematic failures and massive abuses we’ve uncovered in the FISA process. We cannot allow the intelligence community to be routinely weaponized against political opponents. We need to investigate this immediately!”

“A Venn diagram of all the people who thought the FBI wouldn’t ever falsify documents to wiretap a Trump campaign employee and those currently telling us there’s zero chance the NSA is spying on Tucker would be a full circle,” commented journalist Drew Holden.

“If true, this is a massive violation against our civil liberties. The NSA must respond to Congress immediately,” Rep. Ken Buck of Colorado said.

Not the first time

Last March, the Biden administration also came under fire after military officials used official government resources to launch repeated political attacks against Tucker Carlson after the host called out some of the administration’s push within the military.

Fox News noted that the US military, under Biden’s leadership, attacked Carlson — a US citizen — by posting at the Department of Defense website that: “Press Secretary Smites Fox Host That Dissed Diversity in US Military.”

US Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sergeant Scott H. Stalker attacked Carlson in the US Space Command’s official government Twitter account, stating that the Fox News’ hosts statements were “not valid” because they were “made by an individual who has never served a day in his life.”
