A video that led to ‘InfoWars’ host Alex Jones being banned by Twitter is still going viral on the platform.

During an interview on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast, American journalist Tim Pool asked Vijaya Gadde, the global lead for legal, policy, and trust and safety at Twitter, “what was it that made you ban [Alex Jones]?”

Gadde responded,

So there were three separate incidents that came to our attention after the fact that were reported to us by different users. There was a video that was uploaded that showed a child being violently thrown to the ground and crying, so that was the first one.

The same video referenced by Gadde remains uploaded on the Twitter page @donutoperator. As of March 6, 2019, the video uploaded by @donutoperator has amassed a total of 5.16 million views.

The same video was tweeted by Alex Jones with the title “how to prevent liberalism.” Twitter gave Jones a strike for uploading the video, which led to Jones eventually being banned.

Jones also uploaded the video to YouTube, which led to YouTube banning him as well.

However, the same video is currently featured on many other YouTube channels.

So apparently, you can post the video on social media as long as your name isn’t Alex Jones. 🤔
