(WATCH) Afghan Refugee Screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’ While Charging Police With Knife Shot Dead In San Francisco, Mainstream Media Silent (VIDEO)
San Francisco police officials released video footage of the deadly shooting that occurred at a South of Market residential hotel.
Surveillance footage captured video of Ajmal Amani, a former Afghan interpreter for the U.S. military, charging at police with a 6-inch knife, screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’.

San Francisco Police Department Commander Paul Yep said that Officer John Quinlan was forced to fire four rounds off at Amani and Officer Danny De Leon Garcia fired from his beanbag weapon. Yep said, “As Mr. Amani closed the distance, officer 1 and officer 2 fired their respective weapons, striking Mr. Amani. Mr. Amani fell to the ground with the knife nearby him”.
Amani died at the hospital soon thereafter. The shooting occurred early morning on November 19th. Before charging the police, Amani was screaming at and threatening hotel employees. One can clearly hear the Afghan citizen screaming the Islamist phrase, “Allahu Akbar”, which suggests their may be a terrorist motive at play.
