(WATCH) Arizona State University Protestors Express Anti-White Sentiments And Label Rittenhouse A ‘White Supremacist Killer’ (VIDEO)

A multitude of student organizations at Arizona State University are calling for the school to expel Kyle Rittenhouse following his acquittal two weeks ago.

Members of Students for Socialism ASU, Students for Justice in Palestine, Mecha de ASU, and the Multicultural Solidarity Coalition held an event Monday night where they made signs that they held at their protest Wednesday afternoon.  One of the signs read “DEATH 2 AMERICA”.

A statement from the event organizers reads: “The danger Kyle Rittenhouse presents is not just as a person on campus, representing the violence marginalized people face every day, but the racist and fascist right-wing elements that he will bring on campus. Having such a high-profile right-wing fascist icon on our campus would be giving these organizations a free pass to recruit and organize students.”

The groups also compiled a list of demands that they are requesting that ASU officials comply with, including the release of a statement condemning Rittenhouse and white supremacist ideology.

An Instagram post published by the protest organizers says, “Even with a not-guilty verdict from a flawed ‘justice’ system — Kyle Rittenhouse is still guilty to his victims and the families of those victims. Join us to demand from ASU that these demands be met to protect students from a violent, blood-thirsty murderer”.

An investigation led by the Phoenix-based TV station 12News alleged that Rittenhouse has not gone through the admissions process to be an on-campus student, but he is a non-degree seeking online student for the academic session that began October 13th.

Following his acquittal, Rittenhouse stated that he had dropped his two online classes at Arizona State University due to the stress of the trial, but that he now intends to pick them back up, complete them, and finish his degree in person on campus, according to WBTW.

According to an ASU spokeswoman who responded to Insider’s request for comment, Rittenhouse is not currently enrolled in any classes and did not have to go through the admissions process to enroll as an online non-degree pursuing student.

The student groups that met Wednesday in protest tore into Rittenhouse, describing him as a “white supremacist killer descended from white killers”. One of the speakers said, “Kyle Rittenhouse didn’t get a guilty verdict because he was f*****g white!”.

The same speaker also said, “ASU is not only a predominately white university, it is also a white supremacist university”. A passionate white male replied, “What’s wrong with our skin color bigot?”.

At one point, the event leaders were drowned out by booming chants of “Let’s go Brandon”.
