WATCH: Army College Football Team Takes The Field With Flags To Commemorate 9/11 (VIDEO)
The Army Black Knights football team marched onto the field with American flags draped over their shoulders on Saturday, the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 Islamic terrorist attacks, for their game versus the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, which took place in Lexington, Kentucky.

On September 11, 2001, 19 al Qaeda terrorists hijacked four commercial aircraft in order to carry out terrorist acts on the United States military and civilian population. Terrorists hijacked four aircraft, two of which crashed into the World Trade Center buildings in New York City, one of which flew into the Pentagon, and a fourth jet crashed into a field in Pennsylvania when passengers battled terrorists and stopped the plane from being flown into a building.
Nearly 3,000 people perished during the attacks, and many more died in the years that followed from a range of health problems related to the attacks and the war on terrorism, which grew into a multi-trillion dollar “ war on terror ”.
A NASA news release that featured images of the attacks from orbit said: “The attacks on September 11, 2001, were a national tragedy, resulting in a staggering loss of life and a profound shift in the culture of the United States.” “Each year, we take a moment to reflect and never forget. Apart from remembering and honoring the Americans who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, NASA also assisted the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in New York in the days following the disaster, and remembered the victims by providing flags flown aboard the Space Shuttle to their families.”
Because of Democratic President Joe Biden’s chaotic and catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan, the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks has taken on even more significance this year. It was initially planned that U.S. troops would be out of the nation by September 11, but the Biden administration changed the date to August 31. Following Biden’s departure from the country, there were a slew of horrible scenes and incidents, including people attempting to jump from moving airplanes and falling out the of sky from the airplane, 13 American soldiers being murdered in a suicide bombing, hundreds of Americans being left behind after the United States military left, and an apparent innocent family being killed in a drone strike.
Biden has been frequently caught checking his watch during the respectful transport of the soldiers’ corpses after they were brought home, and he has received many demands to resign or be impeached.
As a result, Biden’s approval ratings have plummeted into the 30s, with just roughly a quarter of the nation thinking that the United States is moving in the correct direction.
