(WATCH) Biden Says It Would Be ‘Inappropriate’ To Take Questions From Reporters (VIDEO)
President Joe Biden has generated controversy by refusing to take any questions following the announcement of Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s retirement at the White House on Monday afternoon.
“I’m not gonna take any questions because I think it’s inappropriate to take questions with the justice here. He’s still sitting on the bench,” President Biden said to reporters, pointing to the justice in his presence.

One social media user accused Biden of not taking questions because he hasn’t been told how to respond yet. The Twitter user said, “It’s not “inappropriate” to answer questions about his #SCOTUS pick. Breyer is retiring anyways. Biden hasn’t gotten his approved talking points yet. That’s why he won’t take any questions.”

Following his remarks, in a bizarre fashion, Biden is seen handing his mask to Justice Breyer before walking off maskless. This also drew criticism from social media users. Dan Bongino said, “folks, Biden is not okay.”
At the end of his remarks, @JoeBiden tells reporters he can't answer questions because it would be "inappropriate" … then he inexplicably hands a masked Justice Breyer HIS mask and walks off maskless.
