On Twitter, Reverend Jesse Jackson shared his thoughts calling the looting, “humiliating, embarrassing and morally wrong.”
The BLM leader responded, “Jesse Jackson has nothing to do with Black Lives Matter. Jesse Jackson was not there for the creation of Black Lives Matter. Jesse Jackson can keep his opinions to himself.”
This looting began from a police shooting in an Inglewood neighborhood after responding to a call of a man with a gun.
Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown discussed the incident, “This person fired shots at our officers. Officers returned fire and struck the individual.”
BLM lead Ariel Atkins stated, “Police say a lot of things. They didn’t even have their body cameras on.”
The BLM Chicago leader later discussed, “I said that we are in a pandemic. People are about the face evictions in numbers we have never seen before. People don’t have a job.
