(WATCH) Canadian Police Visiting Citizens Who Support Anti Mandate Protest On Social Media (VIDEO)
Nadine Ellis-Maffei, a Canadian woman living in Ontario, expressed support for the Anti-Mandate protest on a Facebook group, and days later an Ontario police officer came knocking at her door.

The footage shows an officer from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) confronting Ellis-Maffei and handing her a pamphlet explaining how to “peacefully protest”. Ellis-Maffei, shocked, asked the officer, “Have you been monitoring my Facebook Page?”
The officer verified the police are monitoring the Facebook page Ellis-Maffei interacted with and others related to protests. She responded, “You then decided to come to my personal residence to give me information about peaceful protests?” The OPP officer replied with a smile.
She asked again, “Are you guys now monitoring people’s Facebook pages or Facebook groups as to who comments to what their status updates are or what they’re doing or what?” The officer called the social media monitoring a “proactive measure”.
